We're starting the weekend activities with TRACK and SITE PREP starting at 9am Saturday.  There is plenty of work we can do so everyone is welcome. Bring your gloves, weedeaters, and any of your favorite tools.  Bikes are welcome all day, of course!

Saturday May 11 at the BMX Starting Hill - all events FREE

11:00-11:30am - Introduction to BMX Racing for Parents and Racers of all ages

11:30am-3:00pm - Open House - check-in and BMX wrist band required

3:00-3:30pm - Introduction to BMX Racing for Parents and Racers of all ages (repeat)

Evening - bicycles permitted on BMX track per parental consent and MAMA on-site management


Sunday May 12 - FREE PRACTICE, $10 Race Entry, FREE Race Entry for First-Time Racers with any new membership (including the One-Day FREE membership)

AM through 2pm - bicycles permitted on BMX track per parental consent and MAMA on-site management

2:00-3:45pm - BMX Racing Gate Practice and Race Signups - BMX wrist band required
- check-in at the Red BMX Building (Registration)

3:45-4:00pm - BMX Race linups posted, Opening Ceremonies

We have another Central Virginia Double-Header on the calendar for Sunday, August 25 - and the weather looks great for racing!!  The first race is at Richmond BMX with signups running from 12:30-1:30pm.  After that racing action, come on out to VMP BMX for the 2nd Race of the day!

If you can't make it to Richmond, come directly to VMP and enjoy the additional track time while the others make the trip between tracks.

We are almost to another BIG WEEK of RACING for YOU with the:

 

Central Virginia 500 Point Warnicke Weekend

VMP BMX – Richmond BMX

September 6-7-8 - 2013

 

There is GATE PRACTICE at Richmond BMX on Thursday Sep 5 running from 5pm-dusk to get you warmed up - and a chance to bring YOUR friends so they can see what's involved before RACE DAY.  So bring $3, your bike and gear and get out on YOUR track!

 

Then we have TWO Warnicke Scholarship Races scheduled in Central Virginia This weekend along with TWO MORE Races for a total opportunity of up to 500 Points!!

 

The FIRST RACE of the Weekend starts FRIDAY NIGHT at Richmond BMX!!

 

YOUR Friends can join for FUN and Competition as there is a FREE MEMBERSHIP AVAILABLE for WARNICKE RACES with No Membership Commitment.  That means they can race these events even if they have already used the 1-day membership in the past.  Note that the two Warnicke races are NOT eligible for the FIRST RACE FREE as they are intended as Fundraising Events for the Bob Warnicke Scholarship.  The other two races on the schedule this weekend are eligible for the First Race Free promotion.  Of course, ALL EVENTS earn POINTS for USA BMX Members, so it is ALWAYS good to get your FULL Membership as soon as you can - and keep it current through the racing season.  As always, ALL NEW, UPGRADE, and RENEWAL Membership Types are available AT THE TRACK on Race Days.
