I have an HP c7000 blade system that has 6 blades running ESX 4.0
Update 1. I installed a vmktree VM and followed thr instructions for
setup and troubleshooting. There were a couple of DNS issues that I
corrected and I was able to add the hosts for monitoring.

Here is where things swerved off-track! I first noticed that many of
the VMs were listed twice. And this morining when I checked vmktree,
qhen I click on a host and then select the VMs on this host button, It
shows Running VMs: 0 Total: 0. However the VMs show up in the left
panel. Some are listed once and some are listed twice.

When I look at the host graphs, none of them show data for either
vmhba1 or vmhba2 but the rest of the graphs show data. The VMs seem to
be graphing normally except for being there twice.

Is this an artifact of ESX 4 or of the configuration of the system?
Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi,
This is an artifact of ESX4, not your config of the system. I'll let you know when I have things working fine on ESX4.
