How to send a really BASIC mail?

Hello

Can someone help me, on how to send a BASIC email (no html/attachements) using for example a GMAIL library?
Is this somewhere placed in the documentary?

C++ is of course the used language.

Hi Niely!

You should definitely have a look at samples in "examples" directory of VMime source tree.
In particular, have a look at "example1" (to create a message) and "example6" (for sending over SMTP).
