For projects inside the Tacoma Smelter Plume

Builders, Developers, Construction Companies - If your project has arsenic- and lead-contaminated soils, state and local laws require you to protect workers, prevent stormwater runoff, properly dispose of contaminated soils, and control dust. Learn more in this fact sheet.

City and County Governments  - Would this fact sheet be helpful for permit applicants?  E-mail Hannah...@ecy.wa.gov with the number of hard copies you would like and an address to mail them to.

Residents - If you see dust, dirt, or runoff coming off a site, report it to Ecology.
