The Community Engagement Grant Program is one aspect of King County’s efforts to strengthen linkages to residents of unincorporated King County.  Seven distinct geographic Community Service Areas (CSA) have been identified.  Current initiatives of the CSA include:

·         Online information about unincorporated King County with a website that includes county contact information and information on each CSA;

·         A Primary Point of Contact for each CSA that will function as a liaison, ombudsman, and information clearinghouse for residents of each CSA;

·         Work Plans that lay out the county’s goals for each of the seven Community Service Areas and services and projects in the CSA; and

·         Opportunities for residents to meet with both elected and county leadership and discuss CSA Work Plans at CSA Meetings.

For further information on the grant applications or for your questions, please contact Marissa Alegria at 206-477-4523/TTY 711 or Marissa...@kingcounty.gov  For information on the overall CSA program contact Alan Painter at 206-477-4521.
