I have some question related to AMBA AHB

1. Why it is called as full duplex type data transfer protocol? based on  HWRITE value, on positive edge it can either read or write.
2. At what frequency I can use AHB.
3. Why only 16 master is allowed for single arbiter.
3. how many slave I can connect to a single master.

Hi anusheel,

1- Although AHB systems are multiplexed and thus have independent read and write data busses, they cannot operate in full-duplex mode.

You can get your answers from this link.
