31st VGEC Annual Conference Questions and Answers

It is time to make plans to attend the 31st VGEC Annual Conference in late October. This year the Guild is trying something new - we are meeting at Camp Allen, the Diocese of Texas retreat center. It is about 80 miles outside of Houston and a million miles away from everyday stress. The piney woods encourage deep breathing while the calm and quiet inspire slowing down and reflection. Registration is now online at http://www.vergers.org/conference/2019  Take a look at everything, find a roommate, and register soon. Space is limited and there are no overflow hotels or tents available.

Hi Eileen—

My wife I want badly to attend  but I have some concerns resulting from some health issues.  Are there long distances between cabins, meeting areas, etc.?  We love the conferences and would feel badly if we couldn’t attend.
