I would normally wear Purple, but this year our Dean has decided that he doesn't want a Verger for Advent.  I know this sounds ridiculous but not only at Advent, he decided to

not have a Verger on Christmas and then again at Epiphany.  He originally wanted me to serve on Major Feast Days and then he reduced it from 10 to 7 Sundays a year.  He said I can still be Verger this Sunday (All Saints Sunday).  I am willing to serve every Sunday if allowed, but I guess if I want to serve at all, it will be by his rules.   I am the only Verger and

it took me two years for him to decide to let me do it.  

Maybe it is time to move on so that maybe I can serve my ministry somewhere else?

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
