Hi Andrew (and thanks for your response to my previous message)

I would vote "Option 1" and keep as is. I like Google Groups, it's very handy and as long as it does not lack any killer feature found elsewhere, I think it would not be wise to change.

Francois

Hi Everyone,

So back in June, Atlassian donated some of their software suite to VLDocking.  This included the very awesome bug tracker Jira.
This is going to help a lot in the future when VLDocking is developed more.  But to help that process I have decided to switch from Google Code to BitBucket.org, Atlassians DCVS service.
This transition will be vital for the most efficient bug fixing and community driven coding experience for VLDocking.

The Project can be found at: https://bitbucket.org/Arrow/vldocking/

With this transition taking place, I thought it would be important to ask the community how the public forum should work.

Option 1: We can stay using Google Groups as it is not bound to the Google Code repo.
Option 2: I can install a forum system on the web server, I would probably use MyBB.
Option 3: I can write a system similar to google groups using google accounts that can integrate with bitbucket and jira

Please let me know what everyone would like to use.

Thanks,

Drew Carlson
