vldocking in central maven repo?

Hi,

Are there any plans to upload the current vldocking release to the central maven repo?
If not: is it possible (allowed) for other opensource projects to upload the release under their groupId to central maven repo?

I currently have no plans for VLDocking to be released on maven repo.  As long as the appropriate licenses are retained in any redistributed code that would be fine.

+1 on this feature and Carsten's pull request: I see no problem in keeping the ANT build for those most familiar with ANT but make the source layout Maven-compatible and have all the related benefits.

I have published vldocking 3.0.3 to maven central. It fixes a issue with read/writeXML and multiple screens.

It is based on work by Andreas Kuhtz from here https://bitbucket.org/akuhtz/vldocking.

Nice job Carsten. It will be usefull to have Maven (if I manage to switch my work project from ANT to Maven one day) ! It's too bad Andrew didnot have time (or whatever reason) to lead this.
Just for the record, why did you chose to change the "com.vldocking" package back to "com.vlsolutions" ?

I maintain Valkyrie-RPC (https://github.com/cmadsen/Valkyrie-RCP) which is using the vlsolutions package name so it was just less work for me.

Once I get around to porting Valkyrie-RPC to Spring 4 I will be happy to change the package name to vldocking if there is a request (https://github.com/cmadsen/vldocking/issues) for it.
