So, what did the update promise? "unlock and upgrade characters faster than ever before" They wanted to achieve this with the introduction of a card system similar to Sonic Forces Mobile. We also have a new character selection now, we have the possibility to get most of the characters at all times now that were previously locked to events (except for characters with "legendary" rarity) and smaller improvements.
For the character select screen, this is also the case. The old one just had them perfectly lined up, just like in Sonic Forces Mobile. You could easily pick the one you wanted to play as. Now you have to scroll past every single character, which takes forever since there are almost 70 characters in this.

Not only are you going to run, you are going to dash! Alright that was a weak one, next to running through levels, you will also have boss battles and chances to unlock new characters. but warning the music does hurt your ears and the animation kinda isnt working if you go on the code you can see thereal animations rather than it continuesly being a ball .but i know im typing alot but theres another thing on this forum called how to make sonic go upside down withought falling and i wanted to use that in this but the slopes are at different angles so it wouldnt work
