If you care about motorcycle dealerships, please take a moment to comment on this proposed regulation that would impose a steep tariff on European motorcycles imported into the US. This is all in attempt to pressure European countries to buy US meat that they don't want (due to hormone use and other practices).

It looks like the tariff would only apply to 50-500cc motorcycles. Anything larger, smaller, or electric would not be subject to this rule. So that's what.... Royal Enfields?

And all KTM dirt bikes and dual sports, the new small BMW street bikes, Beta, Husqvarna, GasGas, any other weird/expensive dirt bike makers I'm forgetting ... It'll kill British manufacturer CCM's plans to come to the US, if they aren't already dead. It will really suck if it actually ends up happening.

I saw the call for action go out from a tech at Moto Richmond. They say it'll have a significant impact on their business.

Regardless of models effected, the idea that a part of the mc industry is being used as a pawn to pressure European countries to buy something they don't want is troubling.

Actually it is business as usual Hal. There is a ban on european mini trucks, specifically Volkswagon, that was signed by JFK over chicken.
