	Dear friends,  This year, Ascanius: The Youth Classics Institute, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the study of Latin and Classics on the elementary and middle school levels, is celebrating its 10th birthday. In recognition of this milestone event, Ascanius is endeavoring to offer more programs, scholarships, and services in the coming years than ever before! We have developed a unique way in which your Latin/Classics Club or Eta Sigma Phi chapter can support the work of Ascanius while also potentially winning useful materials or funds to further your own club’s goals. Thus we announce the FORTUNA OPTIMA MAXIMA 50/50 RAFFLE. A donation as small as $5 buys one entry into the raffle. Prizes range from a set of ancient Roman coins, to an authentic toga and tunica set, to 50% of the raffle earnings for your club! Please visit www.ascaniusyci.org/fortuna/ to view an informational flyer (including a list of programs that will directly benefit from your support) and to make a donation. The raffle will be open until July 15. We encourage you to pass this note along to your friends and colleagues!
