An error about editing .hru file

Dear friends:
When I edit the input file .hru, if I set the irrigation option as
"outside watershed", an error may occurs, after this set has been
completed, and pop out an message box,"Varable theopt has not been
initialized". What's it meaning? Is it necessary to add "an inlet" in
watershed delineation if I want to set the outside irrigation sources?
Can you give me any suggestion? Thanks a lot!
