New Office Bearers for Vizag Chapter 2013-14

Dear All,

Itz has been a wonderful experience to have the unique honour of heading the Vizag Chapter of Young Indians over the past two years! An honour that has been an eventful one and memories of which I shall cherish throughout my life, all made possible only by your unstinted support & encouragement. I thank all of you for having deposed your faith in my abilities and for having the enterprise to shoulder all of our agendas over these two glorious years!

Some events that I feel need special mention are, the programmes with Dr Kiran Bedi - a session of self discovery, the session with ISHA Foundation on "Inner Engineering", Session on RAW – Reality and Work, the industry visits to Quantum Clothing India (P) Ltd and Hirawat Fashion (P) Ltd, the Health, Nutrition & Diet discourse for slum dwellers and the Road Show in partnership with the city traffic police on Road Safety Measures.

I must appreciate & congratulate the work of Yi-Student Net's of GVP College for Degree & PG Courses-Vizag, MVGR College of Engineering-Vizianagaram, Thandra Paparaya Institute of Science & Technology  and Swamy Vivekananda Engineering College-Bobbili, who have all been very active  & participative this year. They should take pride in their involvement and engagement, and for having made their chapter proud.

My sincere thanks to Ms Anupama Arya, Chairman, Yi National, Mr Srikant Suryanarayan, Vice Chairman, Yi National, Mr Shankar Vanavarayar, National Past Chair, Young Indians , Mr. Thulasiraj National Head, Young Indians and the Yi National Governing Council for their support throughout the year.

My warm appreciation and thanks to Mr T K Chand, Immediate Past Chairman, CII Vizag Zone, Mr G Sambasiva Rao, Chairman, CII Vizag Zone, Mr. R.V.S. Raju, Past chairman, CII Vizag Zone, Mr. Srini Mahesh, Past Chair, Yi-CII Vizag Chapter and the entire CII Secretariat for their support in driving Yi Vizag Chapter.

My special thanks to Ms P Padmaja, member,Yi , Ms Shilpa Dantu, member, Yi and Vikash Parekh, EM, Yi.

I am very pleased to announce that the new office bearer of Yi Vizag Chapter for 2013 – 14 : Mr Anik Hirawat, Managing Partner, Hirawat Fashion (P) Ltd and Mr K Rajendra Prasad Rao, Correspondent, Vivekananda Engineering College have been appointed as Chair and Co-Chair respectively.

I wish the new leadership team a great year ahead and look forward to seeing them scale greater heights. Let us work together even harder and continue to contribute to the progress of Yi. Thank you for all the encouragement and unflinching support!
