The VIVO paid development - EoI

Dear VIVO community members,

Thanks to contributions to the VIVO Development Fund from Lyrasis and
Texas A&M University, VIVO is embarking on one-year paid development
project to accelerate our roadmap, enabling VIVO to be easily hosted and
customized for common research institutions' use cases.  Please express
your interest in participating in this project through paid development
work by filling this form - https://forms.gle/VdVqduDyPW57wkxc6. The
project should start in September 2025 and last for 12 months.

The project include the following group of tasks:

- UI improvements

- Data ingestion

- Data consolidation

- Data export

- Deployment improvements

Participation in the project requires some of the following skills:

- User interface (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, FreeMarker templates, UI
design, accessibility, responsive UI)

- Java programming

- Semantic web technologies (SPARQL, Ontologies)

- Deployment (Docker, Maven)

- Library and research information system development (OAI-PMH protocol,
disambiguation techniques, persistent identifiers, formats crosswalks, XSLT)
