Dear VIVO Community,

Spring has brought exciting developments for the VIVO community! From new collaborations to survey insights and opportunities to get involved, we’re thrilled to share the latest news and updates with you. Here’s what’s been happening over the past two months.

VIVO Awarded ORCID Global Participation Fund Grant
We are proud to announce that VIVO has been selected as a recipient of the prestigious ORCID Global Participation Fund (GPF) grant!
Through this grant, we aim to enhance interoperability between VIVO profiles and ORCID records, streamlining research information management and strengthening open research infrastructure worldwide.

What’s the VIVO Governance is talking about

At the recent Leadership Group meeting, key updates included progress toward the VIVO 1.16 release, the TIB grant project on scientific instrument registries, and acceptance of the Lyrasis CST Growth Fund investment to support community-hosted VIVO services. Financial updates, ORCID grant publicity, and governance continuity were also discussed. Plans to sponsor the EFS Forum and enhance leadership membership processes were unanimously supported.
