Proposed VIVO Task Force: “POSI Self Assessment Task Force”

Dear VIVO community,
We have prepared a draft charter for a proposed “POSI Self‑Assessment Task Force” and would like to invite the community to take a look and participate.
The goal of this task force is to carry out a self‑assessment of VIVO in the framework of the “Principles of Open Scholarly Infrastructure (POSI)” (https://openscholarlyinfrastructure.org/) and to document where we stand today, including strengths, open questions, and areas for improvement.

The task force is open to everyone, you are very welcome! There are three ways to indicate your interest in participation.

- Contact Brian Lowe or me via Slack.
Your participation is important! For the task force to be approved, we need:
- at least three positive responses from community members willing to contribute, and
- no more than
three objections to the work being done in this form.
We will leave this call open at least until April 8th to give everyone time to respond. If there are only one or two interested participants, we will revise the charter and re‑announce it.
Once approved, the task force will try to start working as soon as possible.
