Job Title: Senior ETL Developer (Snowflake & Python)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior ETL Developer with strong expertise in Snowflake and Python programming to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in data integration, transformation, and automation, along with a solid understanding of data modeling and cloud data architectures.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows and data pipelines for large-scale data integration projects.
  • Implement and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes in Snowflake.
  • Write efficient Python scripts for data extraction, transformation, validation, and automation.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Develop and maintain stored procedures, views, and SQL scripts in Snowflake.
  • Monitor data pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability; troubleshoot and resolve issues proactively.
  • Implement best practices for ETL design, data governance, and security in cloud environments.
  • Work closely with DevOps teams to deploy and manage ETL solutions in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Document technical designs, workflows, and data lineage.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in ETL development and data integration.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Snowflake – including SnowSQL, Snowpipe, Streams, and Tasks.
  • Proficient in Python programming for data processing and automation.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Experience with data modeling (Star/Snowflake schema) and warehouse design concepts.
  • Familiarity with Airflow, DBT, or other orchestration tools.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and their data services (e.g., S3, Lambda, Azure Data Factory).
  • Good understanding of CI/CD processes and version control (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
