Job Title: Mainframe Developer
End Client: Caterpillar (Major Manufacturer)
Work Location: Onsite - Peoria, IL 61525
Interview Mode: Video sessions
Duration: 12 months
Rate: DOE
Visa: No H1Bs
Required skills:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with COBOL programming on IBM z/OS
- Highly skilled in JCL, VSAM, DB2, IMS, and CICS
- Expert level on $AVRS, ACF2 rules, Sequential files (naming scheme), OPC (scheduling)
- End user knowledge in IBM mainframe and/or any ERP.
- Past experience in mainframe migration projects or modernization initiatives is preferred.
- Prior experience with ServiceNow is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Should have good team skills and positivity for working in a cooperative and diverse team environment.
