Ok, so I just installed this and I can open vitunes. The issue I have
is there is no music files. Where is the configuration to tell vitunes
where your Music is?

hi there!, first try going through the help and get to know some of
the commands you can use, you can go by pressing "?" (without quotes)
When you open vitunes you have to browse artist or songs or albums,
you do this by using the backslide "\" or the "~" . For me the \
works.

\s` search iTunes library by search query
\p` select playlist
\a` select artist
\g` select genre
\A` select album

Thanks, yeah I figured that out but how does it know where to look for
music? So if I install this on Linux where would I put my Music? Does
this plugin require iTunes to be installed? Or does this have nothing
to do with iTunes?

ViTunes - a vim plugin that allows you to control iTunes, created by
Daniel Choi. I think this is pretty much explanatory.

ViTunes gets the music library data straight from iTunes through
something called the Cocoa Scripting Bridge.

You can use it *from* Linux if you use a Linux computer and log into an
OS X computer.

But if you want to play music that is on a Linux computer, ViTunes
doesn't do that.

There's another program called "vitunes" (no caps) that can do this.

http://vitunes.org/

I hope that helps.
