Hi edX student,
We’re pleased to announce another exciting course just opened for enrollment – Physics. “I will make you love physics and your life will never be the same.” - Walter Lewin Registration is now open for: 8.02x Electricity and Magnetism (Physics), taught by legendary MIT Professor Walter Lewin, who the New York Times has called “a Web Star” for his blockbuster online videos on physics. Electricity and Magnetism starts February 18th. The course covers basic physics, as well as topics like why is the sky blue, lightning, magnetic levitation, Aurora Borealis, and particle accelerators. Through his dynamic teaching, contagious enthusiasm and sense of humor, Professor Lewin makes these difficult concepts easy. In addition to Electricity and Magnetism, we have other new and engaging courses starting soon, covering topics ranging from social science to law to classics. (We are also offering popular courses from the prior semester.) So take one or take a few, or simply audit a course - and please tell your friends about these courses, we need your help in telling the world.
