Help with configuring Hadoop with Eclipse

Hello everyone.. Im doing my semester project using Hadoop. I managed
to install and run hadoop (0.20.203.0) in my laptop, Ubuntu 10.04. Is
it possible to use Hadoop with Eclipse? If yes, which version of
Eclipse would be best? I read somewhere that the hadoop plugin for
eclipse that comes with Hadoop is not very efficient. Is there an
alternative for that?

Here is a documentation I wrote for one of my projects. Its a library based on Hadoop, to build/code any project for Hadoop on Eclipse, the steps are the same.--
