VIT-Bangalore - 1+1 Master's Overseas Program - Admissions Open

 Dear VIT Alumni,

We are happy to announce the launch of VIT-Bangalore. In the first phase, the International Centre for Education and Research (ICER) has been started in Whitefield, Bangalore. 

ICER will offer 1+1 Master’s overseas programmes i.e. 1 year at VIT-Bangalore and 1 year at USA partner universities to earn an MS degree in areas of Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Business Analytics or Cyber Security. The classes for the first year will be held in our Whitefield campus. For the working professions, classes will be held in the evenings and weekends during the first year of study in Bangalore.

The following are the partner Universities from which the student could graduate with the Master’s degree in USA.

1.      Rochester Institute of Technology

2.      Binghamton University (SUNY)

3.      University of Maryland, Baltimore County

4.      University of Michigan - Dearborn

Candidates with B.Tech/Integrated M.Tech/M.Tech in any branch or BCA/MCA or MSc/BSc in CS/IT are eligible to apply. Those students completing the MS from the above partner Universities are eligible for up to 36 months of Optional Practical Training (OPT). If you are interested in this 1+1 Master’s overseas programme, who may apply from the following link - https://apply.vitbangalore.in/

The selection will be based on an online personal interview on submission of completed application. The tuition fees for the 1+1 Master’s overseas programme is as follows:

1^st year in VIT Bangalore – ₹ 2,95,000 + GST

2^nd year in partner University – the fees charged by the partner University

Last Date to Apply: 10^th July 2023

Commencement of Classes: 28^th August 2023 (Tentative)
