Job Description :
Please find the attached JD for the Calibration services :
1) Good understating on EMS system
2) Good understanding on common rail fuel system calibration (Diesel System) or MPFI system calibration (Gasoline System)
3) Base Engine optimization skills - Full Throttle Performance, Part Throttle performance & Emissions on Engine Dyno
4) Vehicle Calibration skills-
a) Vehicle Drivability – Cold Start optimization, Pedal map calibration, Idle controller, Vehicle comfort functions… etc
b) Vehicle Emission- Vehicle emission optimization on chassis Dyno ( BS 4, BS 5, Euro5 & Euro6 emission requirements)
c) Engine system PID controller – Fuel system – Rail pressure control. Air system – EGR control, Boost pressure control, Throttle Flap control.
d) Environmental Calibration (winter, altitude & Summer )- Combustion optimization for different environmental conditions, Turbo protection in altitude, smoke limitation calibration for different environmental conditions.
e) OBD calibration-Fault recognition & Fault healing calibration, MIL activation strategies, OBD certification and documentation as per legislation requirements (ARAI, CARB, EU )
5) After treatment Calibration skills- DPF ( diesel particulate filters), SCR (selective catalytic reducers ) & Nox Traps
6) Good driving skills for vehicle calibration activities
