Vitadroïd - where are my notes ? or is the app simply not compatible with the online solution ? and still asking € 1.99 on Google Play !!!

When using Vitadroïd on my mobile phone (android version 4.1.2) I cannot find the "notes" I have been made online on my windows desktop (link: http://www.vitalist.com/v/ ) 

Are there any solutions for this problem ? or is it the only possibility to make additional notes on my desktop ?

If you do not have full compatibility with your online desktop program and your mobile (android) phone, I think the Vitadroïd is a poor solution, asking € 1.99 for this app which does not seem to be  compatible.

Looking forward to you suggestions or even better to your update to read the notes.

Unfortunately notes associated with tasks are currently not supported by Vitadroid. Sorry.

Originally I was planning to continue enhancing Vitadroid to add more features like the notes support and other stuff. Unfortunately there is currently no active development on Vitadroid any more. The most important reason for this is that the documentation of the developer API has disappeared from the Vitalist homepage. As I'm an independent developer which is not associated with the company behind Vitalist, I depend on a fully working interface to access the Vitalist data. I tried to contact the company multiple times, but I don't get any response from them. My support requests are unanswered for over two years now. To be honest, I think that the company discontinued the work on Vitalist. The latest news entries on their homepage are also over two years old. I for myself don't use Vitalist any more and switched to another GTD service as Vitalist seems to be dead. However, I'm keeping Vitadroid in Android Play for those who are still using Vitalist and want to use a native Android application.

I also don't think that 1.99€ are very much. These are one-time costs compared to monthly costs of 5$ or more for the professional Vitalist accounts. As Vitalist is not very popular any more, I only got about 180 buyers in the last years. As Google keeps some of the money, this makes about 260€ profit for me. With a rough estimation of about 50 hours of work I spend for the project in the last years (development + support) this means a profit of about 5,20€ per hour for me. I doubt that many people would work for that amount of money in their spare time.

Many thanks for your quick response and explanation.

I fully understand your situation... it was just that I was verry disapointed

I now downloaded any.do and find some attractive integrations but I did miss the possibilities I used to have with Vitalist.

There any many more apps , and I was happy to discover Vitalist for android. 

Well perhaps someday they will decide to pick up the competition again,   I will wait for sometime but not to long.

Many thansk again for your explanation, ofcourse its no problem that I have spent eur 2.00   on this issue, it think it has cost you more as you told
