DateInput jQuery unrecognized expression

I was getting JavaScript error on page with DateInput components:
"Uncaught Syntax error, unrecognized expression: [date=18 Авг 2011]"
The problem was in incompatibility with jQuery 1.6.2. After switching
back to jQuery 1.4.2 error had disappeared. You might consider to
specify jQuery required version on 'dependency' and 'basic usage'
pages.

Yes this is a problem with the upstream DateInput component. The
original author is no longer maintaining it.

There are a couple of forks on GitHub however that fix this issue and
other things, so I will fold these updates into the next visural-
wicket release.
