What is most important to me in my art is that I continuously push myself! I am committed to refining my technique and exploring a looser and lighter approach to my subjects. While maintaining accuracy in values and color relationships, I strive to infuse a sense of freedom and spontaneity into my work. Transitioning from more rigid style to one that is looser and more expressive requires constant effort and dedication.
Each day, I embrace the challenge of finding the balance between precision and artistic freedom. It is a journey of growth and experimentation, where I am constantly learning and evolving. However, when I succeed in achieving that delicate harmony, it brings me immense joy and fulfillment. The ability to capture the essence of a subject with a looser touch and lighter brushwork while maintaining accuracy is a rewarding experience that fuels my passion for art. -- ELENA SENATOROVA

This exhibit is about having fun and making time to be creative. This is actually my first ever exhibition! I've learnt that being creative is a huge part of my personality, and I'd go as far as to say a very important part of my well-being. It's also an exploration of my artistic style, I've allowed myself to not over think the artworks and create pieces that I enjoy; with the hopes that others enjoy them too! This collection is all about COLOUR! I've discovered that I love to jump between different colour palettes and colour ways, rather than working within one smaller palette. I love the creative process of paper cutting and found the journey and process of actually creating a piece just as important and full-filling as the final finished item. -- CHARLOTTE WEBBER
