Visibility of members

Hi Paul

Can you pop up either a members page – where we can enter our details – or start a discussion thread that we can use to post our interests and contact details.

PS System said that I couldn’t post a discussion thread as I wasn’t a member – is this because you moderate the board or is it that membership permissions take time to propagate through the system?

Hi Nigel,

Google provides a system with email masking to prevent spamming. You
can click on members and email them if you read correctly a distorted
graphically represented word. They are very tough on this (quite
rightly) and my electronic invitation directly to each of you is
currently held pending review by Google Admin.

All new members have moderated posts by default, but I will modify
this for known members so the posts go through straight away.

With this facility in mind, do we need a members details page?
