Enhancement suggestion: Fix width of month/year column in list and expand views

If I stretch my browser window across both my displays (5120 x 1600), the width of the left column where the month and year are displayed has loads of white space, meaning the actual calendar is squashed more than is necessary. When I make the browser window very narrow, the month/year column shrinks to a sensible size. Would it be possible to make this left column have a fixed width, and have all the expansion distributed across the calendar? At present they all expand together.
