Show abbreviation of Day names?

Hi Chris,

first of all thanks for this amazing tool. Although it is almost perfect for my needs I wonder if there is a way to show an abbreviation of the name of the day right beside the date (one letter per day might be enough). The implementation could probably be similar to the Month names because the information is given by google calendar. A solution equally to your solution with the Month names would be perfect, because this would allow language specific names.
