Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a synced Google calendar year planner, preferably for use with android TV, but haven't found any except for your visual-planner. So first of a big thanks for your efforts.

But sadly I can't log into your web version with my Google account. As I try to log in, I get this error message:

Sign in with Google temporarily disabled for this app
This app has not been verified yet by Google in order to use Google Sign In.

Is this issue known? Are there any workarounds?

Tanks in advance,
Michael

I just figured out, that Google usually presents a "continue anyway" option. Though this isn't the case here:

Google have recently introduced a verification process for third-party apps which visual-planner has not yet completed. As well as the warnings you have seen, there is also a limit of 100 on the number of users who are allowed to use an unverified app. As this limit has now been reached, there is no longer a 'continue anyway' option:

The verification process should be completed within 4 weeks.

4 weeks has definitely passed and still no luck..   Looks like a great option though.   Hope this gets sorted out!

Yes I have tried several times over the last 2 months and still get the same message. Is there any way we can ask for this app to be verified?

I now have deactivated 2-step-verification and allowed sign-ins from less secure apps but still get the message that sign in with Google is temporarily disabled for this app.
Is there any way to use visual planner any more?
Thanx a lot in advance!

Can we do anything to get this solved?
Or is there any workaround?
I urgently need it for planning next year.
Or does anybody know an alternative?
Thanks a lot!

I would appreciate a solution as well.  Can we support the verification process in any way?

I have tried re-submitting the app for verification after verifying the host domain. However, it appears that the verification process now requires a 'demonstration video' as explained here:

I have no intention of making such a video so it seems unlikely that the app will pass verification.

Thanks, god to know!
If one of us would try to make such a demo, hopefully providing all required information, maybe we would have to be able to login?

It looks that way, yes.

So how can I (or anyone else who isn't already logged in) support this?
The visual planner is thuch a brilliant tool!
It would be really a great pity if it couldn't be used anymore.
I used it several times; unfortunately I didn't leave the sign in activated in between.

It would require someone who knows how to make YouTube videos.

App verification is in progress. It may yet pass without the video - the documentation is ambiguous about whether it is compulsory or just to speed things up.

A new version is now available:

The new version has been verified so there should be no sign-in limits.

The old version will not be verified.

When Google signs you into your account, it stores some information with the browser which is needed to allow access to your account during the session. For some reason, Firefox is being prevented from storing this information. This is likely due to either a browser setting or your system configuration.

I suggest you try a different browser and/or system.
