George Sutton, who runs the symbols.net and blissymbolics.us websites
has been updating the Blissymbolics flashcards that were handed out at
the VaIL conference last week. There are many new flashcards that
directly address topics and applications discussed at the
conference.

The flashcards are available at: http://www.blissymbolics.us/natural/

Please take a look at these excellent learning aides.

Sorry I missed attending the conference, but this week I viewed all
the video, and archived it so I can get up to speed again just before
next year's conference.

I started a new website for displaying some ideas and projects which I
initiated as a result of the VaIL conference, and the Bliss Think-Tank
in Scotland (which I participated in remotely with Skype.com video
chat). There was an amazing synergy for me between the Bliss Think-
Tank and the VaIL conference. One of my projects will be developing a
version of Blissymbolics taylored specifically for DoD needs as I
understand them from the conference.

Here's the new site:

http://www.suttonglyphs.com/

It has an open area for the general public and a protected area with
encrypted PDFs for VaIL people only. I will be sending Sunny the
password so he can give it to whomever he sees fit. The first of the
PDFs is here:

(no password needed for this introductory PDF)
