Visual and Iconic Language 2007 Update

[Visual and Iconic Language]

Speakers and papers have been confirmed for this year's Visual and
Iconic Language Conference! A list of our speakers and an updated
agenda is available on the VaIL website at: http://cs.unm.edu/~vail

Also posted are a list of nearby hotels and directions to the UNM
campus and student union building.

Please note that conference times have been shifted to begin early on
August 2nd and finish by noon on Friday. Friday morning's activities
will consist primarily of demonstrations and discussions pertaining
to visual language research, applications, and collaboration. This
change was made to allow for attendee and speaker travel on Friday
afternoon.

Invite your colleagues! We still have many seats to fill for a full
conference attendance.

The conference was not setup for real-time video. Sorry for any
confusion. I think that this is a superb suggestion and we will
definitely be looking into doing this for future events and
conferences. We did have professional video production done and
intend on providing each talk, along with slides, available for
download.

Stay tuned. Video and pictures taken at the conference should be
posted within the next couple of weeks. :)
