Hi guys!

I recently updated to SAHM 2.0 and I'm trying to run some models, but I keep getting error messages that either all species points are outside of the template layer or that the mds file contains non-numeric values (and indeed, all the points have "NaN" for the various environmental layers). I have quadruple checked that all my inputs are in GCS WGS84 and I can visually verify within GIS that all my species points are fully within the extent of the template layer and all environmental layers.

What am I doing wrong!?

Oof, don't you hate it when the light doesn't begin to dawn until after you hit "post"? :-P

It looks like the climate data I am using doesn't use negative longitudes, so that my species data extent minX is -101.9, while the climate data minX is 258.1. ArcGIS treats these coordinates as equivalent, but SAHM doesn't. So now I need to figure out how to get the data extents all on the same page, so to speak.

So, never mind! :-)

Hello Michelle,

Well, that's an easy one!  Yeah it's a known issue that we don't auto handle different ranges on longitude.  Maybe some day.

Cheers,
Colin
