I have installed Start Menu X on my Windows XP system & things seem to be running slow. Sometimes I have to click on the Start button a couple of times to get it to pop up. Most all of my programs AND start menu functions (restart, sleep, shutdown, etc.) take too long to start or react to a click on them.

I've gone back to my Vista Start Menu, but I like alot of things about SMX & wonder if anyone else have any issues with SMX running on XP?

Also, when checking CPU usage, SMX is access the CPU more than VSM has ever done. So I'm wondering why SMX is accessing the cpu when it is only running in the system tray.

Thanks!

Hi,

Did you run both programs together? If so then this is the problem. You
should install Start Menu X and after uninstall Vista Start Menu.
