Programs don't display properly

I'm a registered user and when offered the opportunity to test drive
StartMenu XP beta, I installed and ran it for awhile.
Deciding I preferred the look and feel of VistaStart Menu, I
uninstalled XP using Advanced Uninstaller Pro and reinstalled Vista .
After the reinstall my programs list is gone and replaced with 7 group
folders and one program icon.
Can someone please help me return to the default showing all
individual folders and icons?
Since this problem started I've tried again uninstalling and a
reinstall but nothing has helped thus far.
I am using Win 7, 64 bit
