Best part? Being able to right click the bar and choose your option
without having the buttons there.

Hello Dennis,

Great job trying to satisfy all your customers. I did not find any
functional bugs at this point. Just installed pro version. Will test
it every night when I get home from work.

One visual bug that has been there in your later revisions is on the
"Key Tips" window under the customize wizard. The lower portion of the
text for the word "panel" is cut off for the selection "Always shown
for the power buttons and the lower panel" when the window is in the
restore down or reduced size. Also, the period is missing at the end
of the sentence.

"Smart tips" is missing a period at the end of the sentence.

Not sure if your intention is to have the period at the end or not to
have the period, as "Always show tips" and "Never show tips" have
periods.

Also, the roll over text on the left seems to go white, which is
difficult to see; it's been like that since I first got it, but it's
no biggie.

I love the recent developments for it, keep up the awesome work! B-)

One thing I have noticed, when checking for updates, the window
displays:

"This version of Vista Start Menu is not recognized.
Please contact support, and provide your version number and the place
you downloaded the product from. "


Can this be fixed?

I believe you get this message is because this is a beta version.
Dennis probably would not list it for current or update while still in
beta.

2.9 Beta is working great. I've been using it for a couple days now
and really like it.

I read on another thread that in version 3.x there will be the ability
to change the width of the columns in the menu. Is there any
estimated release date on this (I realize that it would probably be
rough at this point and that is fine)? I just have quite a few
documents (expecially in the "My Recent Documents" folder that are
used fairly often but are extremely long. For example, one of my
files has a name which is nearly 70 characters long, and I have quite
a few of them. A version number at the end is all the differentiates
them, which is the part which is cut off....

Anyway, any information you can give would be great. Thanks!
