Greg Kreis' class for MUMPS for VistA did not fill, so it has been canceled.
In its stead, Sam Habiel has generously offered to teach a class on
configuring FOIA VistA from scratch. Sam is a programmer, pharmacist and CAC
all wrapped into one great package. I am sure you will enjoy the class
described below.

CONFIGURING FOIA VISTA FROM SCRATCH

Learn how to install FOIA VISTA from scratch. In the class you will learn how
to download VISTA, how to install it on Cache and GT.M, and how to configure
it to a baseline where you can start using it. Configuration taught in the
class will be limited to the infrastructure packages in VISTA.

At the end of the class, you should be able to install GT.M or Cache,
download VISTA, and configure VISTA enough to be able to use CPRS.

The class will be 3 days long from January 14-16 at the Midtown Marriott hotel
next to the UC Davis Medical School in Sacramento California. The 3 day VistA
Community Meeting will immediately follow the course. The fee for the course
is $500/person.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops to participate
in the class. If you don't have a laptop you can bring, please contact Nancy
Anthracite at na...@worldvista.org.

Registration for the class is here:

Information about where to call and what code to use for $119 rooms at the
Marriott Midtown can be found here:
