As part of GT.M sponsorship of the 31st VistA Community Meeting, Roger
Partridge, who leads the GT.M development team, will teach a class in
GT.M Advanced Programming Techniques at George Mason University in
Fairfax, Virginia, May 29-31 (course description and registration link at

We hope you find the topics interesting, and are able to attend / send

If you are thinking about attending the GT.M Advanced Programming Techniques class, time's getting on for registering - it's a little over a month away.

As those attending the GT.M Advanced Programming class at the end of May are all veteran MUMPS programmers, it seems to us that there is only so much to be taught using traditional expository techniques.  Much of the teaching / learning will come from looking at code together, and we will learn from looking at one anothers' code, discussing one anothers' coding problems and development challenges, and sharing development philosophies under Roger's guidance.

To that end, if you plan to attend, we would like to invite you to bring code to share.  Bring code whose behavior is not what you intend it to be, but you don't know why.  Bring code that you have developed that you think has elegant solutions to problems you have solved.  And do come prepared to describe your hardest development challenges for which you do not yet have code.
