 The VISTA Leader's primary responsibility will be to support the work of 10 VISTAs at various college campuses or community agencies throughout Minnesota working to create greater healthcare access and health literacy for primarily low-income populations through new or expanded campus-community partnerships. Priorities: - Provide support and technical assistance to VISTA members and Supervisors at Habitat for Humanity affiliates across the state
- Coordinate recruitment efforts
- Plan and facilitate training and teambuilding activities for Habitat VISTA
members located throughout the state - Opportunity to develop relationships with the statewide network of Habitat
for Humanity affiliate staff members and VISTAs - Participation in Leadership Development training facilitated by faculty
member from St. Catherine’s University Organizational Leadership program - Assist with development and support of a Summer VISTA program
- Gain firsthand knowledge of Habitat for Humanity’s efforts to eliminate
