Hello

I know most of you have ended or nearing the end of your Leader year,
but just wanted to forward this on in case you knew anyone interested.
My organization the California Indian Manpower Consortium, Inc. has
just opened up three new VISTA positions working with Native American
communities. I have pasted the link below to the position description:

Here is the link: https://my.americorps.gov/mp/listing/viewListing.do?fromSearch=true&id=36903

The three positions that are available with a November start date
(which would include attending a tribal specific PSO) are as follows:

-Peach Springs, Arizona with the Hualapai Tribe (they are located 1.5
hours from the Grand Canyon and actually are the tribe that owns the
Sky Walk)
-Pine Hill, New Mexico (with the Ramah Navajo Continuing Education
Center)
-Sacramento, CA with CIMC's Workforce Development main office

Both Peach Springs and Pine Hill are rural and the positions are
located on the reservations. These positions are a rare opportunity
for those that want to help make a difference with Native American
populations.

Hope all is well and best of luck to you all in your post-Leader
adventures!

Kristi
