Habitat for Humanity of Minnesota is seeking a great candidate with
VISTA experience to serve as our next VISTA Leader! This is a great
opportunity to work with a well-established and exciting international
organization- which works with partner families and volunteers to
create simple decent and affordable housing.

VISTAs in Minnesota with Habitat work on projects such as Marketing/
PR, Volunteer Program Development, A Brush With Kindness (ABWK)
program start-up, ReStore start-up and marketing initiatives, working
to expand committees and community outreach. Our cohort is 17 VISTAs
Year Long, and 15-20 Summer VISTAs (who work leading volunteers in
construction for 8 weeks). The VISTA Leader position includes work in
training, supporting, and recruiting VISTAs. This is a great
opportunity to learn and improve a range of skill sets. We are looking
for a great people- person who is excited to support VISTAs throughout
their service term.

I'm happy to talk more about my position, the awesome office of folks
I get to work with, the beautiful city of Minneapolis that I'm based-
in : ) and so on. Also noteworthy, there is a uniquely fantastic group
of VISTA Leaders in Minnesota- around 9 or 10 of us, who get to work
together on an ongoing basis throughout the year, and who also have
regular meetings with the State Office representatives here (who are
great!). It's a very supportive place to be a VISTA Leader.
