Time Sheets

Hey All,

It has been requested that our VISTAs start keeping time sheets to
account for their time. Does anyone have any time sheets that they
would be willing to share with me? I'm looking for time sheets that
have room to record special activities, i.e. training, outside
volunteering, events, ect. in addition to the normal work hours.

To all timesheet VISTA enthusiasts,

I created a timesheet that calculates all the hours for you, and leaves space for listing daily tasks. I've also included the official AmeriCorps pay period codes, when pay is directly deposited.  If you find a more appropriate timesheet that's already shared but doesn't contain formulas, I'll be happy to add them into it per request.

Cassie et al:

The Kentucky Corporation does not require time keeping, so we leave that up to the discretion of each site if they have a time keeping system in place.  However, the Kentucky Corporation asks that we track and monitor usage of leave in order to prevent burnout.  Attached is the VISTA Record of Leave form that we use (not Kentucky specific).

Good Morning and hello from sunny-after-first fall rain Merced, CA.

 

Thank you for the great reference and providing specific forms.  What I am still after is a request to take leave form, as well as a request for reimbursement of expenses (small items for workshops, notebooks, and so forth).  I write curriculum and teach others to train and incurr expenses which are getting expensive for a Leader living allowance. 

 

Any ideas?  Any resources?

Hi!  I hope you have better funding than my program last year under the GA Commission.  The only thing I ever was reimbursed for was mileage to serve at a tornado disaster relief site (I found my own overnight guest family whom I did not even know), a few short mileage treks and a track ball from the disability funds since I have had carpel tunnel syndrome.  I had no funding to site visit across the state to my 11 VISTAs, and I paid for their end of service little gifts...and thus they came from ME!

Wishing you luck - you don't get if you don't ask either.  Maybe your sponsor has the form you need.  When I was with United Way in FL they would order what you requested through their office supply source  but you had to request in advance.
