Dear All,

I copied entire EDIS package from the below svn.

And i built the package using mvn (Command prompt). I copied the main.war file from "tracking-server-main/target/main.war" this path.

I installed the Apache Tomcat/7.0.23.

I copied the main.war file in to the path ..\Tomcat\webapps\ .

I changed the configuration in ..\Tomcat\webapps\main\WEB-INF\config\vistalink-config.xml. Restarted the Apache Tomcat server.

I tried the application in browser by using this address "http://localhost:8086/main/tracking.html" it is showing the version incompatibility issue. Issue is below,

Emergency Department Integration Software - Tracking Application
Version Incompatibility

This is EDIS web application version '1.0.1.WorldVistA-SNAPSHOT'.
The EDIS server package version running in your VistA account is '1.0'.
A compatible client ('edis-tracking-ui-main-1.0.1') was not found bundled in this web application.

Please ensure the version in your VistA account is compatible with version '1.0.1.WorldVistA-SNAPSHOT' of the EDIS web application.

You have been logged out.

Log in again.

How to ensure the version in VistA account.
Could you share your experiences?

Thank you.

This one's pretty easy to resolve, I think.  There's a version check between the compiled version of the EDIS web application and the version installed in your VistA account.  Version '1.0.1.WorldVistA-SNAPSHOT' is the version string compiled into the web application during the maven build, which is different than the version embedded in the EDIS KIDS distribution even though they are compatible.  Anyway, to get this to run, you just need to make sure the two version strings match.  You have two choices:

1. alter the maven pom.xml file and set the version to '1.0' to match the version in your VistA account

or

2. alter the MENU TEXT of the EDPF TRACKING SYSTEM option so that it matches what is compiled into your web app - i.e. 'EDIS version 1.0.1'

I think that should take care of it.

Good luck!

Dear solomon,

Thanks for your kindful reply. It works fine.

I have changed the menu text from "EDIS version 1.0" into "EDIS version 1.0.1.WorldVistA-SNAPSHOT".

Now the application is running perfectly in my local system.

The same set up i have done in linux server. Obviously it's working fine in server also.

But when ever am trying to click Display board option it throws an error "Unable to refresh display board".

Attached the screenshot.

I have include the following lines in xinetd file also,

per_source  = UNLIMITED
instances   = UNLIMITED

Still the problem is showing.

Dear all could you please share you experience here.

Thank you.
