Scipy 2018 Tutorials

Greetings from the Scipy 2018 Tutorials Committee!  We are in the process of soliciting tutorial submissions for this year's conference, and were hoping that

someone on the VisPy development team might be interested in submitting an introductory tutorial on the software.  It would be helpful for the Scipy community

to be exposed to newer visualization tools, and would also be a good way for VisPy to increase its visibility among the community!

Submitters may find additional information here and keep in mind the deadline for submission is February 9th. (Please note that this is significantly

earlier than past years.)

Mike,

Thanks for letting us know! I definitely plan on attending SciPy 2018, but had not considered doing a VisPy tutorial. I had planned on submitting 1 talk and 1 poster to the main portion of the conference so I'm not sure I personally have the time to create a tutorial. I will talk with the other maintainers and see what we can do. Thanks again.
