Hi Folks,

On the CBS Morning TV Show today they had a thing about recycling
certain products.
Of one of them were a Handspring Visor with some other stuff on
display.

Would you recycle (handover) your "Handspring Visor" to some
contribute organization
(or just keep it around for a collector item) ?

Are you still making use of this great PDA anyway?

I can't seem to sync with my Windows Vista computer system now :-(.

I just tossed a Palm much later model, and long
ago I shared a Visor color (Prism?) with a member
here so he could cannibalize it or his and
hopefully make a complete working PDA out of the
two that were beginning to fail.

But I still have working Deluxe and Neo with
backup modules. I no longer try to sync to
computers, I am on Win7 and suspect it wouldn't
recognize them, but I will keep the two as long as
they accept restoring the backup material to them.
I use the address books there primarily, and it's
just fun to have them as working models.

Truth is I still think they were the best of the
PDAs. I loved the Prism (am I right about that
name?). The Palm was okay but it went haywire
pretty quickly.

I now use an iTouch that picks up my wireless. I
can do pretty much everything there but make a
telephone call.

I think my family tree is a few branches
