Hello All,

Arrived from the Yahoo Visor Group.

Curious as to what everyone is using.

Me?

Hanspring Visor Prism and Neo and a fairly large collection of
modules.

Pro here :-) I love the 16 megs of memory. Although I do have
a couple of Deluxes just in case the lithium-ion batteries in
my main Pro and my two backup Pros *all* go dead sometime in
the future.

Modules: Visorphone, Minijam, Geode, Omni Remote, Raycom massager.

Does anyone else have one of the Raycom massager modules? I love
mine, but I've been saving it for an occasional special treat to
extend the life of the pads as long as possible.

Neo

Deluxe

EyeModule 1

EyeModule 2

Backup Module with smart media

Backup Module with memory stick (module is showing
signs of weakening/wear)

I have a game module if I remember right, don't
think I ever used it much.

I do use Launcher on the Handsprings and PIBackup
programming with the Modules.

I sent a Prism that appeared to need a new
battery, someone with a broken screen cannibalized
the two systems and made a complete one. I'm glad
that the Prism continues in use for him. I miss
the Prism a LOT.

But I did buy a Tungsten E2 and that is handling
my Audible.com account and I transferred my
address book and memos etc. into that PDA. It is
much lighter and slimmer than the Handsprings, but
I think the Handsprings are still my preferred
PDAs.

I ordered the video iPod from Apple, missed the
attempted FedEx delivery on Saturday, they are
trying again tomorrow. I am really looking
forward to receiving it, already have a clock
charger dock waiting for it.

Modules are another story, since everyone's listed theirs, here goes:

InnoGear MiniJam, Eyemodule 1, Targus Total Recall, Xircom 56 Modem,
Magellan GPS Companion, PiTech Backup Modules, SM (2-1 crushed early
version, not reliable, not VFS) and CF, Springboard Thin Modem,
Springboard 8MB backup module, Tiger Woods Golf Game.

Most usefull accessories, Stowaway Keyboard hard connect; I-Concepts
Wireless IR for the TX.

I was very happy with the Neo and was looking for the Wireless module
on eBay. Eyesight (color) and new compelling features (BlueTooth,
WiFi, built in MP3 player) and having to buy endless AAA batteries on
sale led to my TX upgrade about a year ago.

I inherited a non working Prism and modules from a good friend who
never got into a PDA which I have since repaired, reconfigured for use
as my GPS solution. I love having GPS with me and look like a total
geek carrying both the TX and the Prism w/ GPS module.

Can you tell that I also love Swiss Army Knives......LOL

I forgot about the keyboard. It was an accessory
I just had to have. After buying it, I so worried
about the tight almost impossible connection with
the Prism that I didn't attach it but one or two
times. It sits forlornly in the basket designated
for Handspring items. Besides, I had grown to
love handwriting on a PDA. When I started looking
for a newer hand-held, that was an absolute
essential on the list of must have's.

Yes, it does sit in very tightly and I too got worried over the
possible
breakage of the "ears". So far so good, I don't think you should
worry
the "ear" plastic looks to be a different type, kind of nylony plastic
and more durable/pliable/maleable than the styrene of the Visor case
and protective cover over the serial port.

I wouldn't hesitate to use it, looking @ the construction, it looks
like
it can easily be replaced and as Stowaway still exists, will have
replacement parts. This was designed specifically so that
Stowaway could just change the end connector and use the
same keyboard for all the Palm variations.....Thank goodness
for IR connections.

G1 RULES, I researched the forums endlessly before upgrading
to the TX and when I found out Grafitti 1 could be substituted /
overlaid for / over Grafitti 2, I took the upgrade plunge. I love the
TX as well as the new to me Prism.

So have no fear and type away. LOL.
