Select neighbours not working in 2.28

Hi,

I am encountering an other odd problem:

1) Select one or more nodes
2) Select menu point nodes -> select neighbours

Expected behaviour: all nodes connected to the selected nodes are added
to the selection.

In 2.27.1: works fine :-)
In 2.28: nothing happens :-(

I have tested this with java 11 and 21 on my Linux Mint 22, the problem
is reproducible. But as this happened with my students running visone on
windows, this seems OS independent and version related.

Anyone else confronted with the same issue? Can someone reproduce and
confirm this?

Hi Kimmo,

I already mentioned this in my earlier reply to Steve Corman: Yes, the "select neighborhoods" and "select incident links" menu items accidentally broke in version 2.28.
As a temporary workaround, you can use the more powerful "filter" feature in the attribute manager.
But I think there will be a bugfix release very soon that corrects this issue and some other bugs in the latest version.

oh, sorry for double-posting. I have missed Steve Corman's mail, now
found it my junk folder :-( Thanks for letting me know!

The positive side is, that after yesterday's lecture my students now
know how to do this with "filter" in the attribute manager :-)
