how to assign a node to more than one group at a time

I was wondering if there is any way to assign a node to more than one group (overlapping group) on the visone?

No, it is not possible to create overlapping groups, only distinct groups or nested groups. Or in other words, if two groups have some shared nodes, then one group must be nested into the other.
